The library

We take literature and reading seriously. Our library is on the ground floor, right next to reception, and keeps the historic feel of the region: light brown wooden shelves, tightly packed from floor to ceiling, and modern designer chairs to read in. Today it holds more than 2,000 titles, most of them given by guests who return year after year.

The collection spans many genres, with a strong focus on literature and the social sciences, and authors from A to Z, from Jane Austen to the Moroccan writer Mohamed Zafzaf, in several languages. It is growing into a high-quality general library: for the pleasure of our guests today, and in the future for more serious study and research.

Apart from new acquisitions and some reference books, every volume can be borrowed for your stay. In the former photography studio next door, you can spend hours with Moroccan and international magazines.

The library grows thanks to our guests. Bring a book you have enjoyed and leave it on our shelves: it will find a new reader here. Books in every language are welcome, and each donation becomes part of the collection.
